The Location of Guilin City
Guilin is located in Guangxi Province, southwest China, it is 460km to Hong Kong and 390km to Guangzhou which are 2 biggest international cities near it. Well-known as one of the top China tourist cities, Guilin welcomes millions of visitors every year. Guilin lin is easily accessible nowadays by both flights and bullet trains. It Owns 3 major high speed bullet train stations : Guilin Railway Station, Guilin West Railway Station and Guilin North Railway Station. Guilin to Yanghuo
Guilin City is located at the northeast part of Guangxi province, while Yangshuo County is situated at the southeast part.The distance is only about 65 kilometers. It is a ride of 1.5 hours from Guilin to Yangshuo by car. Besides transferring by car, travellers can also get to Yangshuo from Guilin by the Li River Cruise, high speed train, etc. and the Li River cruise is the most popular and enjoyable transportation choice.
Guilin to Longsheng
Longsheng Rice Terraces (or Longji Rice Terraces) is one of the most popular scenic areas in Guilin. There is no train or flight connecting Guilin and Longsheng. Visitors to Longsheng should arrive at Guilin first, and then travel from Guilin to get there. Longsheng Rice Terraces (or Longji Rice Terraces)has three main Terraced Fields. presently, Jinkeng Dazhai is the only scenic Terraced Field which can be reached by the direct bus from Guilin. To get to the other two rice terraces areas, you may need transfer at Longsheng County
Longsheng to Yangshuo
Yangshuo and Longsheng (Longji Rice Terraces) are two hot tourist destinations in Guilin. Yangshuo is located about 65km southeast to Guilin. Longji Rice Terraces is located in Longsheng County, about 80km north to Guilin. The distance between Yangshuo and Longji Rice Terraces is about 145km. By car, it will take about 4 or 5 hours from Yangshuo to Longji. Guilin is conveniently located at the middle of Yangshuo and Longsheng, so visitors are recommended to stay overnight at Guilin to shorten the long driving.
