Yulong River Rafting Trip

Unlike petrol engine boats on Li River, bamboo rafts on Yulong River are worked by local boatmen. Each  bamboo raft cancarry 2 people, and the boatmen paddle the raft on the crystal clear river, fishes can be seen swrimming in the water and the moutains are reflected on the peaceful river surface...On the river there are 28 dams which were built by the local people  to cross the river. Paddling the bamboo rafts across the dams is also an interesting experience of Yulong river bamboo rafting. At the end of the rafting, you can watch the Cormorant Fishing show, a fisherman will release some of his cormorants into the water, after diving in the river for few seconds, the cormorants will come up on the surface of the water with fishes in their beaks, then the fisherman stick out a long bamboo pole to take the cormorants back to the boat and pour the fish out  from their tied-up throats
