The whole distance from Chengdu to Mt.Siguniang is about 260KM with concrete road or tar road in good condition.
Road condition introduction:
Chengdu--Dujiangyan:
The whole distance is about 46KM (Express Way), about half an hour`s driving in good road condition.
Dujiangyan--Yingxiu:
The whole distance is about 55KM (Concrete road or Tar road), about one hour`s driving. Since the high way from Dujiang to Wenchuan is under construction, we will probably meet the traffic jam here. Out of this road, we will come across the Chuanxi Altiplano, the elevation is higher gradually.
Yingxiu--the foot of the Mt. Balang (East foot):
The road leading to Xiaojin is fairly new concrete, there are very few people and car on the road, it is comfortable for us to drive along this way. The elevation is grown to 2000m, after one and half hour`s driving we arrive at the foot of Mt. Balang.
The foot of Mt. Balang--Rilong:
