Luorong Pasture(yak meadow) with a sea level of 4180 meters, is Located in an enchanting valley between the east face of Chenresig and the west face of Chanadorje. Jampelyang, 'a truncated pyramid' claimed by Joseph Rock, rises almost 2000 meters at the upper end of the valley. It is the first place in the Reserve where the 3 holy peaks can be viewed.
The Luorong Pasture(Yak meadow) is surrounded by the three holy mountains and crossed by the Gongga River. With wooden cabins and herds of cattle, the pasture presents romantic rural scenery.
