4 Day Chengdu Daocheng Yading Flight Tour

The tour guide will pick you up and then send you to Chengdu Airport for your flight to Daocheng Yading airport, which is the world's highest airport (4411m). Upon arrival, local tour guide and driver will pick you up and then transfer you to the Riwa Township (Now Shangri-La Town of Sichuan Province), on the way we will pass Daocheng county and appreicate the veiw along the road.

On the way, you will see the Haizishan mountain where there is the largest site of ancient ice on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, widely known as “the ancient ice cap of Daocheng”. Drive through the Red Grass Swamp. In autumn,it is very colorful and considered as an icon of  Daocheng Yading tourism. Afterwards, check in your hotel in Riwa(Shangarila town) and then explore the surroundings on your own or have a good rest to acclimate the high altitude.

After having breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to the entrance gate of Yading Nature Reserve (Driving: 5km) ,  then change to  the sightseeing bus to Zhaguanbeng Stop (Driving: 30km) located in the core of Yading. Take the local Battery Car (Riding: 6km) to Luorong Pasture(4150m), where you can see the holy snow peaks. Then start your hiking tour up (Hiking: 5km) to Milk Lake (4600m) and Five-Color Lake (4700m), or enjoy a horseback riding in this section for breathtaking views of the three sacred peaks: Mt. Yangmaiyong (5958m), Mt. Xianuaduoji (5958m) and Mt. Xiannairi (6032m). The up-and-down hiking tour will take you about 6 to 7 hours. Then return to Yading village in the nature reserve for overnight.

(Note: Horse riding tour is available from  Luorong Pasture up to Milk Lake (4600m) and Five-Color Lake (4600m) if you want to save energy, the riding fee about 300 RMB is paid by yourself. )

Today We will firt go to Zhaguanbeng Stop from Yading village, then  start to visit the Chonggu Temple,  afterwards, hike about 1.5km to the Pearl Lake at the foot of the holy snow peak - Mt. Xiannairi. After the sightseeing of Yading nature reserve, we will take the sightseeing bus back to RIwa town and then  drive back to Daocheng county for overnight.

Free wandering to explore the surroundings of Daocheng, a typical Tibetan town if the flight back to Chengdu is in the afternoon,  thentransfer to the Daocheng Yading airport for your flight to Chengdu. Our tour guide will pick you up from Chengdu airport and drive you the hotel in Chengdu.
