9 days Beijjing Xian Chenhdu high speed train happy tour

Today, we will visit the most famous attraction of China-the Great Wall at Badaling, which is also one of the  highlights of your China tour. Make sure you wear a pair of hiking shoes for today's hiking on the Great Wall. Driving aobut 1 hour to Badaling Great Wall, then we will start the tour either by hiking or by cable car to reach the top of the great wall (cable car cost not included). As a chinese saying goes "He is not a real man until he climes up to the top of the Great Wall", you will see the magnificent view on the great wall, and as one of the seven wonders in the world, the view of the Great Wall will surely impress you.
Getting down the Great Wall and having lunch, afterwards, we will visit Tian'anmen Square, where the most important national ceremonies of China are held. Tian'anmen Square is the largest Square in the world with many historical buildings surrounded by. From the square, you can walk to the south gate of  the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace of China. The Forbidden City was built during the Ming Dynasty and was used as both working and residential palace by the emperors of Ming Dynasty and the successive Qing Dynasty, with a history of 600 years. Touring in this imperial palace, we can see its magestic halls with golden roofs, the beautiful pavilions in the royal garden, and  the high red walls. After leaving the Forbidden City, we will visit Jingshan Park which is a relaxing place for locals taking exercise, singing or dancing. Ascending to the top of Jingshan Hill, we will have a bird's-eye view of the whole Forbidden City and Beijing city center.

In the morning, we will visit the beautiful Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. Stroll around ancient pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges and corridors while feasting your eyes on the vast lotus in Kunming Lake and the colorful paintings in the Long Corridor, the Summer Palace is a real masterpiece of ancient Chinese garden art.

After visiting the Summer Palace, we will drive to visit  a Hutong which is a lane for local residents. Around the noon, our lunch will be served at a local family,the food will be home cooked Chinese dumpling or typical Chinese dishes. Afterwards,  we will drive to Beijing train station and catch the high speed train to our next destination- Xi'an.  Arriving in Xi'an on the same day, and you will be welcomed by the  local tour guide and driver in Xi'an, then transfer to your hotel and stay overnight in Xi'an.

The driver and tour guide will pick you up at the lobby in your hotel,the first destination is Shaanxi History Museum.It is a sizable national museum with a wide range of modern facilities.It is Located one kilometer away northwest of The Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The entire building complex. Assumes the architectural features of the Tang Dynasty. It covers an areas of 70'000 square with a floor space of over 50'000 square meters . It hosts the cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and development of the Chinese civilization. We will have 2 hours' sightseeing here.

Next is the Bell Tower and The Drum Tower square 1 hour' sightseeing.The Bell Tower,is a stately rtaditional building,that marks the geographical center of the ancient capital. From this important landmark extend East, South, West and North Gates of the city wall of the Ming Dynasty.About 500 meters northwest to the Bell Tower stands another manificent building,the Drum Tower.It is a new historical monument in Shaanxi Province.With the two towers rivaling each other,the ancient city of xi'an is even more beautiful and spectacular than ever before.

After that ,we will go to the Muslim quarter. Muslim quarter is the hub of the muslim community in xian city.The 500-meter-long street is paved by dark-colour stone, with green trees on both sides providing shade during summer. The buildings on both sides are adorned in the style of Ming and Qing Dynast, most of which are restaurants, while others are stores. you wouldn't regret for the Muslim snacks of Xian,Such as Yang-Rou-Pao-Mo (the shred non-fermented pan-cake cooking with mutton soup),mutton-burger, cold-noodle, dumplings and so on.You xould be a 2 hours'  gourmet here. 

Finally, drive back to your hotel,and looking forward to tommorrow's tour.

After bureakfast,the driver and tour guide will pick you up in your hotel, and transfer to Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum.The Terra-cotta Warriors Museum is about 40 kilometers away from the downtown area of Xian, at east side outskirts of the city, discovered accidentally in 1974,by local farmers who dug the well. This incredible army formation contains more than 8000 soldiers, archers, horses and chariots, guarding emperor Qin's tomb in full battle formation since 210 BC. Each figure is unique ,even today the excavation still continue in 3 pits which are protected by huge arch-shape hangar. We will have 2 hours' visiting here,including Pit1.2.3 of Terra-cotta Worriors and The Bronze Chariots and Horses.

After lunch,start the visiting at the Wild Big Goose Pagoda.The Pagoda was built in the 7th century to house the Buddhist materials that Xuanzang (Tripitaka) brought back from his epic journey to India.

Later, you can walk or cycle on the Xian Ancient City Wall.It is said that a Xi’an tour is not complete without visiting the Ancient City Wall that has been guarding the inner city since the 13th century. The walls, ramparts, gates, and watchtowers form one of the oldest and most complete city defenses in China. If the weather is good, cycling will be incorporated into the visit, and you will enjoy some good views of the city.Then drive back to your hotel.

After breakfast,the driver will pick you up aat the lobby in your hotel,and then transfer to train station directly.Upon your arrival, the tour guide and driver in Chengdu will warmly met you at the exit of the train station.Then transfer to your Chengdu hotel to check in and this after is the freedom time for you.You could walk around and taste some local snacks.

After breakfast,we will drive to visit Wuhou temple, which is built for memorial of one Shu kingdom premier during Three Kingdom period. Then have a walk at old Jinli street next by. 

Then visit the Wide and Narrow Alleys, the former residential area of the Royal Manchu people of Qing Dynasty, the traditionl Chinese architectures are well preserved and renovated into tea houses, restaurants, show center and shops. Have a taste of local sichuan snacks for lunch.

Afterwards, go to the backstage of Sichuan opera tea house. In the grass root style opera house, lots of old fans gather here every day, meet up friends and enjoy the show. We can be one of them, watching the performance and drinking tea. But the most interesting part of this tour is that you have a chance to enter their backstage to see how the actors/ actresses make up.

Then, we will visit the People's Park, where you can Just relax while enjoying a cup of tea , trying to chat with the local drinkers to learn more about tea culture. Furthermore, there is a chance to learn and play Majhong - one of the most popular games in Chengdu.

Step 2: 8:30-11:00am, visiting Chengdu Research Center of Giant Panda Breeding.
Step 3 : 11:00Am-13:00, driving to Leshan. 
Step 4: 13:00-14:00, lunch time. 
Step 5: 14:00-16:30, visiting Leshan Giant Buddha by walking up to the top of the hill. 
Step 6: 16:30-17:15, driving to the foot of Mt.Emei, free visit Emei mountain square until about 18:00. 
Step 7: 18:30Pm-19:30, Sightseeing and Dining at a local restaurant with the help of your guide. (Dinner Cost is not included in tour package) Emei Kungfu show may be suggested by the tour guide as an optional program, it is not compulsory.
Step 8: 20:00, check in at the hotel near the foot of the mountain. 

After breakfast in the hotel, change to the local pollution free sightseeing bus to Leidongping parking lot(2 hours drivering), then walk about 20 minutes to catch the cable car up to Golden Summit . We'll visit the magnificent statue of Samantabhadra (Puxian Bodhisattva), the Golden palace and the Silver palace, the cloud sea etc.Then,leave for Wannian monastery located in the waist of  Mt.emei, after sightseeing in this temple, we'll walk down to Qingying pavilion, a strip skyline, and monkey mountain along the tranquil path hidden in the forest, enjoying the pleasure of the peaceful coexistence of man and monkey. Then go down the mountain and back to Chengdu directly.

The driver will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel 3 hours in advance according to the departure time of your flight.
