Arrive in Huangshan by train or plane in the morning from Shanghai/Hangzhou or any city close to Huangshan, our tour guide and driver will pick you up and then drive to Huangshan Scenic Area (1 hour ride, 60 km). Then you will take the Yungu cable car up to the top of Huangshan mountain. Visit Beginning-to-Believe Peak, Brush Rack Peak , the Lion Peak and enjoy magnificent sunset . Stay overnight at the Beihai Hotel.

Get up early in the morning to enjoy a breath-taking sunrise over Huangshan, this activity will be an unforgtetable experience and is always highly recommended to visitors to picturesque Yellow Mountain; afterwards, go back to your hotel for breakfast, then hike and enjoy the amazing views at Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, see the Flying-over Rock, visit Brightness Summit.
After sightseeing of the scenery of Mt. Hangshan, take the cable car down the mountain ; then head to Huangshan city and explore some interesting things in Tunxi Old Street which still preserves its traditional Hui Style Architecture. You will also have chance to visit a Ink-stick Workshop to learn how the famous Hui Ink is made; at the end transfer to airport or railway station for your next destination.

Accommodation on Huangshan(yellow Mountain )
To stay at least one night on the mountain is worth doing to gain more time to enjoy the landscape of Huangshan especially the a sunset and sunrise. Only 6 hotels available on the mountain -Yupinglou Hotel and Baiyun Hotel) at the front side of theMountain, and 4 hotels (Beihai Hotel, Xihai Hotel, Shilin Hotel, Paiyunlou Hotel) at the back side. The Xihai Hotel South Building is the only 5-star standard hotel , while Beihai, Shilin, Baiyun are 4-star. We will book Xihai Hotel and Beihai Hotel for our clients. Kindly be aware hotel faciliteies on the mountain are comparatively worse than those in big cities, but the prices are higher as the supply stuff of hotels is carried up to the mountain only by human powers.
Food on the Mountain
Only Chinese dishes of local Hui-style Cuisine are offered by hotels ,such as seasonal vegetables, pork, chicken, beef and fish. No western food provided, but Beihai Hotel and Xihai Hotel can arrange simple western breakfasts, such as breads, jam and coffee.
The best time to visit
Best Time to Visit Huangshan is from March to October ,but try to avoid July August and China National Holiday while many groups of Chinese travel, it can be badly crowded in those days.
Slow down and Wear Comfortable
Much walking is inevitable on the mountain, you are strongly suggested to show your pace and travel light if you are not 100% physically strong. Just bring the items on this recommended packing list with you : comfortable and breathable clothes, hiking shoes, alpenstock, sunblock, raincoat and a small bag.
