Sichuan Opera has a history spanning 300 years and your evening's entertainment celebrates the music, voice, dance and humor of the region. The show begins with the classic 'Nightmare of Shi Huaiyu,' which is part ghost story and part love song, featuring famous characters from Chinese fiction. Next the performance features two soloists on traditional Chinese instruments. First is the Ehru, the Chinese violin with a haunting sound that you'll never forget. Later on in the opera, a solo will be performed on the Guqin, the Chinese zither. The Guqin is associated with wisdom and nobleness and is used for only the most traditional and sentimental music.

Sichuan Evening Opera Show
Our driver picks you up from your hotel to the theater around 19:30. The Opera begins at 20:00, it will last for 1.5hours. Actually, the So-called opera show is the performance of local art among which the unique skills of Sichuan oepra such as Changing Faces, Spitting Fire and Rolling Lights will be presented, in addition, some of the local folk arts are also performed on the show, like the puppet show, handshadow show, Chinese traditional instrument playing etc.  A cup of  Sichuan jasmine tea is also served together with some snacks while you enjoy the Opera, sitting in the bamboo chair, meanwhile, you can pay a little bit money for a massage or ear cleaning. After the exciting Opera, send you back to your hotel, end the trip.
